Location: Occupied Palestinian Territories, Tubas district in the West Bank - Almelah, Ein elhelwa, Samra/Makhol, Afarisiya, Aljoba, Khirbet Yarza, Alhadidiya, Khirbet Humsa, Ibzeq, Salhab, Alzobee, Qa’wwon, Einon, Attof, Alras Alahmar, and Alhemah.
Beneficiaries: The project will target 270 households living in communities that suffered from the drought and are in danger of losing their main source of income. The beneficiaries will include only livestock breeders who are affected by the current drought.
Main objective: To contribute towards mitigating the negative impact of the drought for selected vulnerable communities in Northern West Bank. Special objective: To support livestock breeders in the North of Jordan Valley to sustain their main source of income.
Results: Livestock breeders and Bedouin communities in the project target area meet the fodder needs of their livestock and are able to overcome the drought period.
Activities: - Conducting workshops with stakeholders and beneficiaries.
- Distribute fodder on livestock breeders and Bedouin communities.
